Will my therapy session be confidential?

All sessions are confidential. If your doctor were to see you in public, he or she would not acknowledge you or greet you unless you greet him or her first.

However, certain situations involving danger to self or others limit confidentiality regarding therapeutic treatment. Some other extreme rules do apply to limit confidentiality, and we will discuss such limits to confidentiality in our first meeting.
